The Plot
Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka Manny played by Sushant Singh Rajput, is full of life, an adamant fan of Rajnikanth. He has a jock like personality with a passion for life; he is social and keeps bunking his classes. Manny has cancer and lost a leg because of it. On the other hand, Kizie Basu (Sanjana Sanghi) personality is affected by impending death she is destined to face. Kizie has lung cancer; her life is receiving support from an oxygen cylinder which accompanies her wherever she goes.
Kizie meets Manny at a support group and their lives change forever. Manny offers Kizzie a role in his movie and both take on a journey to do what they love together. Both develop a deep affection for each other. The two teenagers have a short time to live but Manny leaves before Kizie, leaving their movie unfinished. Kizie feels devastates, takes it on herself to finish the movie as a tribute to her lost lover.

Dil Bechara is a Hindi remake of the movie ” The Fault in Our Stars”. The original movie is an adaptation of the Bestseller novel ” Fault in our Stars” by John Green. Actors Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in leading roles. When Shailene first got to know about the Dil Bechara she tagged her co-star Ansel Elgort in a tweet, expressing her excitement for the Hindi remake.
